One Piece EB-05 Heroines Edition Vol. 2: The Complete Extra Booster Guide
Share
Nami, Nico Robin, Boa Hancock, Vivi, Shirahoshi… The heroines of One Piece are back in the spotlight. On October 31, 2026, the One Piece Card Game will release the Extra Booster EB-05 "ONE PIECE Heroines Edition vol.2" in Japan, a direct sequel to the highly popular EB-03. On the agenda: a brand new Nico Robin leader, six leaders with exclusive illustrations, SP cards in the style of the ONE PIECE HEROINES anime, and a Manga card of Shirahoshi. Here is everything we already know.
01
Heroines Edition vol.2: the return of the heroines
Extra Boosters (EB) are special One Piece Card Game expansions that are shorter than a standard booster set and built around a specific theme. Following a first volume dedicated to the heroines (EB-03), Bandai is back with a vol.2 entirely dedicated to the female characters from Eiichiro Oda's work.
This second volume is tied to the ONE PIECE HEROINES anime: several illustrations are drawn by Takashi Kojima, the series' character designer, and the set includes characters that appear in it. The box, in pink tones, highlights Nami and Nico Robin.
The cast is wide-ranging: from the Straw Hats to the Kuja, via Fish-Man Island, Wano, Dressrosa, Baroque Works, or the Navy. Notably featured are Shirahoshi, Otohime, Camie, Boa Hancock, Gloriosa, Rebecca, Yamato, Perona, Black Maria, Vinsmoke Reiju, Tsuru, Monet, and even Miss Buckingham Stussy.

The new Nico Robin leader (EB05-010)
✦ Robin, Archaeologist and Deck Leader
This is the only 100% new leader in the set. Nico Robin EB05-010 is a dual-colored Green Yellow leader with 4 Life, 5000 Power, and the Wisdom attribute.
Its effect revolves around Wisdom characters. Once per turn, when one of them (without Blocker) is K.O.'d, you add the top card of your deck to your Life. And once per turn, during your main phase, Robin can restand a Wisdom character with 6000 power or less. A leader that mixes tempo control (green) and life management (yellow).

- ColorsGreen / Yellow
- Life4
- Power5000
- AttributeWisdom

05
Six leaders in "Heroines" illustrations
In addition to Robin, six previously released leaders receive a new illustration: translucent white frame, floral patterns, and characters overflowing the frame. Their effects remain the same: these are parallel versions, ideal for pimping your deck or completing a heroine collection.
Nefertari Vivi
The princess of Alabasta, leader of the first Heroines set.
Nami
The Straw Hat navigator.
Shirahoshi
The mermaid princess of Fish-Man Island.
Jewelry Bonney
The Supernova from Egghead.
Boa Hancock
The Pirate Empress of Amazon Lily.
Rebecca
The gladiator of Dressrosa.

Cards to hunt: SP and Manga
Nami OP01-016
The Nami from Romance Dawn (OP01), reprinted with anime-style illustration, on a pink gradient background with signature. A nod to the game's very first set.
Nico Robin EB05-016
The SP version of the new Super Rare Robin (cost 6, 6000 power, Counter +1000), in the same style as Nami. The box duo, in premium version.
Shirahoshi EB05-014
THE Manga card revealed: Shirahoshi in color on a background of black and white manga panels. Manga cards are among the rarest and most sought-after in the One Piece Card Game.
Still a mystery
A secret card is announced but not yet revealed. Bets are open: Hancock? Yamato? Uta? Answer at release.
Six other SP cards, magazine cover style
In addition to Nami and Robin, Bandai has revealed six SP cards with a very different style: a full-frame portrait and the character's name in large silver letters, like a fashion magazine cover. These include Miss Buckingham Stussy, Perona, Boa Hancock, Vinsmoke Reiju, Gerd, and Charlotte Pudding. With Nami and Robin, that makes 8 SP cards to hunt.

Collector's Tip: In Japan, SP and Manga cards from Extra Boosters often increase in value in the weeks following release. If you are aiming for a specific card, buying it individually is often safer than opening displays.

✦ Nami illustrated by Kentaro Yabuki, author of To LOVE-Ru

This is one of the biggest surprises in EB-05. The Super Rare Nami (EB05-055) exists in a classic version, but also in two exclusive parallel versions illustrated by Kentaro Yabuki.
For those who don't know him, Kentaro Yabuki is a Japanese mangaka published, like Eiichiro Oda, by Shueisha. He made a name for himself with Black Cat in Weekly Shōnen Jump, before drawing To LOVE-Ru, a romantic comedy that became a cult classic, followed by its sequel To LOVE-Ru Darkness. His style is unmistakable: heroines with a very soft, expressive, and charming touch. Seeing his hand on Nami is a true crossover between two Jump universes, and it's rare in the One Piece Card Game.
Both parallels feature the same pose (Nami in a sailor uniform, cash in her hands, true to her love of money):
- The “classic” parallel: normal card frame, purple background with a cat silhouette and hearts.
- The full-art parallel: all in pink, with a large portrait of Nami in the background, hearts everywhere, and the name in a gold banner. This is the one expected to be the most difficult to obtain.

If you are aiming for just one card from the set, this is probably it: illustrations signed by guest mangaka are generally highly sought after by collectors.
Good news for collectors: based on the first images, several other Super Rares will also have their parallel version, including Jewelry Bonney, Shirahoshi, Nico Robin, Sugar, Gloriosa, and Yamato.
On the Rare side, we also find Boa Hancock, Rebecca, Camie, Perona, Black Maria, Vinsmoke Reiju, Nojiko, Baby 5, and Hibari. Players will also note the number of Fish-Man Island cards (Otohime, Camie, Shirley, Shirahoshi, the Mermaid Café dancers), which should strengthen decks built around Shirahoshi.

Japanese or English version?
Bandai has also announced an English version of EB-05, but in a different format: 12-card booster packs instead of 6. The Japanese version remains the favorite for many collectors for several reasons:
¥240 per booster: one of the cheapest formats in the game.
Japan receives the cards first, with the SPs and the Manga card.
Japanese cards are appreciated for their finish and centering.
For tournaments in Europe, the English version remains the standard.
